George Frangakis
George has worked at the junction of media, content, technology and commerce. With insights from 100s of data driven projects, he has great understanding of user behavior within the digital ecosystem and beyond. Currently he is the Managing Director of Webjar and Trillion Code, a leading Ad Agency and Software House helping clients grow their business.
Previously George head up ForestView from a team of 2 to a team of 45+, creating one of the first performance marketing and affiliate networks in Greece with campaigns in over 30 countries and got invited to Palo Alto as a Google Star Agency. He went on to work as Managing Director for Advertising with Think Digital and then joined Best Price as Chief Operating & Revenue Officer to help grow the business. He has also head up DDB advertising in various countries and led his own venture in the field of music and entertainment marketing along with European Music Day, to later move on to MTV as Head of Marketing and New Business.
George is a recognized conference speaker, won several awards in innovation, marketing and advertising, been a judge on European digital advertising panels, a Board Member of the Institute of Communication as well as lecturer on several marketing educational programs. He is a music aficionado and proud father. He loves the outdoors, helps out in scuba cleanup activities with NGO Aegean Rebreathe.
